WHAT IS GRC?
If you are architecturally remodeling your home and have heard the term GRC tossed around, you may be wondering what exactly it is. Well, GRC is an acronym for Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete. It is a composite material that consist of portland cement, fine aggregate, water, additives, color pigments and most importantly—GLASS. This popular glass reinforced material can be used to replace standard concrete in architectural designs, facades and elements. Even some engineering projects utilize GRC in its designs because of the material’s many benefits.
